Mission Accomplished

Saturday was a great day and a great success. I finished my first half-marathon and had a blast doing it! Most motivating of all for me was being able to see how quickly I was running each mile, so that I could keep pushing it and finish strong. My stats:

Sure, we were in Indy for the run, but this was the real highlight. The coolest, most retro Dunkin' I've ever laid eyes on. Post race snack of champions: Boston Cream donut. Preceded by a Jimmy John's sub, of course.
On our way out of town we had to pay homage at the White Castle: 10 sliders, a 6-pack of chicken rings, 1 fish sammich, 1 chicken sammy, 2 fries and 2 sodas. They had Barq's Red Cream Soda on tap. I was in heaven!

The gruesome aftermath. There was nary a fry and not a single onion spared.
